Ol Doinyo Lengai stands at the western edge of the Gregory Rift in Northern Tanzania.  This unique active volcano takes on many different appearances, depending from where you view it.

Plane Table Surveying

The Survey Fire had access to the latest advanced technology Leica Geosystems TPS and GPS equipment during the so were introduced to the well tried and tested method of Plane Table Surveying whilst at Kerimasi base camp.
