| Ben and Megan Plane Table Surveying with Loluni in the background - Thanks to the generosity of Leica Geosystems in the UK, the BSES expedition to northern Tanzania was equipped with the latest GPS and Total Station surveying technology, which enabled them to provide the height accuracy necessary for the Gravity survey and to model the terrain in the crater of Ol Doinyo Lengai - At Kerimasi base camp, the opportunity was taken to introduce the Young Explorers to the more traditional method of Plane Table surveying |
