| Simba camp on the edge of Ngorongoro - Although the Young Explorers had trekked across Africa’s Rift Valley and the Crater Highlands they had not actually seen many wild animals, so vehicles were hired locally to take us into the Ngorongoro Crater for the day, but this exciting sighting of elephant was in Simba Camp - This elephant found the fruit supplied by Roy’s Safaris tempting, but this was a potentially dangerous situation as this was a wild elephant which got very upset if anyone approached within 20m |
