| HITS assembled and ready to roll - Continued development of the system meant that we were now using custom light weight aluminium trolleys that we had built ourselves instead of the heavy steel ones seen in the earlier images - Powerful flash guns for illuminating the tunnel ahead of the “light line” are in the red box on the HITS trolley - Development had also progressed to including halogen car headlamp bulbs in the unit so that a continuous profile of the tunnel could be viewed as the trolleys were pushed along the tunnel - The device was now rechristened HITS (Halogen Illuminated Tunnel Section) to reflect this modification |
