| Blisworth Tunnel measured by Stereo Photogrammetry - January 1981 - The first approach to using photography to measure tunnel profiles was by using stereo photogrammetry - This was a well tried and practical technique, but we soon discovered that there was a world of difference using this method for features such as building facades, which are in planes parallel to the image plane, and features such as tunnels, which are normal to the image plane - A new approach was needed and we decided that it would help enormously if the plan to be digitised was highlighted by a “light line” |
