Blue Tit chick fledges.

20th May 18:25

Time to go!  One chick has already fledged and the second one leaves the nest box.  The two fledged chicks hopped and flew short distances around the garden and looked very vulnerable whilst the parent Blue Tits continued to feed them and fussed around neglecting the remaining chick in the next box, which sadly did not fledge, so we had two fledglings from six eggs.  13 days in incubation and 19  growing up.  31 days of parental care!
